Dra. Lorena Fariñas, MD

The main areas in which Dr. Fariñas Madrid focuses her research are clinical trials in ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancer.

She is also a sub-investigator in many projects involving gynecologic tumors, including Phase I through Phase IV.

• Holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2009. 
• Specialization in Medical Oncology at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona, completed in 2015.

• Physician Associate in the Gynecological Tumors Unit and Clinical Researcher in the field of gynecologic tumors at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology in Barcelona.
• Active member of the Spanish and European Societies of Medical Oncology (SEOM, ESMO, GEICO)
